Mary Ann Hill, Saltwater Hill’s founder and principal, is a seasoned communications professional with more than 20 years experience in higher education, health care, and the public sector. She honed her portfolio of communications, leadership, and management skills at organizations such as Wellesley College, Beth Israel Hospital, the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, and the Office of the U.S. Senate Majority Leader.

As leader of Wellesley College’s public affairs department for 11 years, Mary Ann was responsible for strategic communications initiatives, including a web site overhaul, media relations, crisis communications, major college publications, and government relations efforts. She served as college spokesperson and communications counsel to the president, senior staff, and trustees.

A graduate of Wellesley College, Mary Ann earned a Masters in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
